
Cherry chia seed jam

An amazing jam that is done in 20 minutes. It is so much better and healthier than the store bought version.

Ingredients
- 3 cups organic frozen cherries. You can also use fresh
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 tbsp chia seeds
Instructions
- In a saucepan heat berries over med, heat and bring to a simmer. Stir frequently. Reduce heat to low and simmer for another 5 minutes. With a potato masher, mash the berries until a jam like consistency is achieved. Leave some bits for texture. Add in lemon juice, maple syrup, and vanilla.
- Take off the heat and add the chia seeds. Allow mixture to set for about 20-25 minutes or until it thickens up. Store in a mason jar in the fridge. Enjoy!
